Pro-to-ProThe AIMS Society announces their 20th Annual PRO-to-PRO Retreat, March 1-3, 2007 at the Radisson Suites in Tucson, Arizona. This 2_-day event is a gathering of agency and company decision-makers (owners, CEOs, sales managers, producers, and account executives) from across the country. Workshops held during this program feature innovative marketing ideas, sales techniques that add to the bottom-line, technical innovations that improve agency productivity, and networking functions where profitable business partnerships are created.

Changes Since Spitzer – a panel discussion that will be moderated by a former agent, turned regulator, and will provide interesting insight on fee disclosure, contingency arrangements, conflict of interest, governance and rebuilding consumer trust.
Producers: The Next Generation—a panel of young producers who will discuss what they feel it takes to succeed in insurance sales today including the tools and techniques that work best for pre-qualifying and closing sales in our electronic age.

Jim Gislason, CPIA from United Insurance Services in Vincennes, Indiana and Vice-Chair of the event explains “the Tucson weather affords us the opportunity to offer many of our ‘networking events outside, which is wonderful during this time of year when winter can be so harsh in the mid-West. We plan to incorporate golf and pre-season baseball into our free time and will host our hospitality events on the hotel verandas!”
This 20th PRO-to-PRO will be a reunion of sorts as Charter Members, Life Members and Past Presidents will be recognized throughout the event. In addition, the AIMS Society will present its 2007 Company Partner of the Year award to a carrier who has provided significant marketing support to agents through innovative products and service; one AIMS Society member will be selected as the 2007 Producer of the Year; and 197 new Certified Professional Insurance Agent designees will be recognized during the 11th Annual CPIA Conferment Ceremony. AIMS Society Members are also invited to participate in the Annual Membership Meeting which will take place prior to the closing luncheon.
